Portillo’s, the restaurant chain known for serving unrivaled Chicago street food, launched a new spicy chicken sandwich featuring a unique giardiniera sauce. They partnered with Cameo for Business to ensure a memorable launch. Portillo’s recognized that most people couldn’t pronounce the word “giardiniera”, so they asked 20 celebs to try to pronounce the word, often with hilarious results.
The brand ran the Cameo content on social media platforms for three months, and they saw more engagement and increased sales - beyond what was expected! - as a result.
